Introduction

ScorePulse ("the App") is an iOS application that provides an advanced metronome with score playback features, including changing time signatures, tempo transitions, and rehearsal marks. The App is designed with privacy in mind and operates entirely offline.

Information We Do Not Collect

The ScorePulse app does not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following:

• ❌ Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• ❌ Location data
• ❌ Usage analytics or tracking data
• ❌ Device identifiers (UDID, advertising ID, etc.)
• ❌ Crash reports or diagnostic data
• ❌ Search queries or user-generated content
• ❌ Network activity or browsing history
• ❌ Cookies or similar tracking technologies
• ❌ Authentication credentials or user accounts

The app does not require:

• Account creation
• Sign-in or login
• Network permissions
• Access to device features (camera, contacts, photos, etc.)

Information Stored Locally

The App stores minimal, non-personal data locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

What is stored:

• Imported Scores: Score files (.scorepulse) you import are stored in the app's Documents folder
• Playback Settings: Your subdivision mode preference (quarter/eighth notes)

Storage Method:

• Data is stored using iOS's standard file system and UserDefaults
• Storage is sandboxed to the App and cannot be accessed by other apps
• Total storage varies based on imported scores (typically under 100KB)

How to Delete:

You can delete all locally stored data by:

• Deleting individual scores using the swipe-to-delete gesture in the app
• Deleting and reinstalling the app
• Using iOS Settings → ScorePulse → Delete App Data

Children's Privacy

The ScorePulse app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children or adults.

Parents/Guardians: The App is safe for children to use independently, as it:

• Contains no advertisements
• Has no in-app purchases
• Does not collect any personal information
• Does not allow communication with other users
• Contains only music practice tools

Your Rights

Under GDPR and Similar Privacy Laws:

Since we do not collect any personal data, most data subject rights do not apply. However, we respect your privacy rights:

• Right to Information: This policy provides full transparency about our practices
• Right to Deletion: You can delete locally stored data anytime by clearing app data or reinstalling
• Right to Access: All data is stored locally on your device and accessible to you
• Right to Object: Since we don't collect data, there is nothing to object to

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

• Changes in our practices
• Updates to legal requirements
• App feature changes

Notice of Changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised
• Material changes will be communicated through App Store update notes

By continuing to use the App after changes are posted, you accept the updated policy.
